Residents of Pleasant Township,

Pollard Land Services, Inc. will begin construction of the Mohawk Ave. Sewer Extension on September 14, 2026. Construction is expected to continue through summer 2027. Construction may be paused at the contractor’s discretion due to winter conditions. Service to residents who are already connected to the sanitary sewer system will not be interrupted by this project.

Residents whose homes will be connected to the new sewer lines will be receiving additional information regarding their future connection via mail in fall of 2026. We expect homeowners will be permitted to connect to the new lines in summer of 2027.

Please be aware of these construction activities and take care to drive safely and exercise caution during this time.

Construction will occur on the following roads:

• Mohawk Ave. (Starting at intersection with Farm Lane and continuing 2.3 miles south)
• Callender Street (Pump station and interceptor line under Pleasant Drive)
• Elk Road
• Kimberly Court
• Lynn Drive
• Shale Ridge Lane
• Shelby Circle
• Valley View Drive
